Artistic ceilings are known throughout the world, as people have sought to personalise their homes since ancient times. In the past, skilled artists spent months painting ceilings, causing daily inconvenience to homeowners or visitors to the institutions where the work took place. It was a lengthy and very costly process.
Today we offer a wide range of themes and images from which you can choose a decoration that fits perfectly into your office or room. The selected image is printed accurately onto PVC film, preserving the smallest details and colour nuances. If a client finds it difficult to choose a particular picture, our designers help, taking into account the room’s size, shape, lighting and purpose. Most customers choose space, aquatic, abstract or floral imagery. If the room’s design and furniture follow a classical style, the printed image might reproduce or imitate a painting from the classical or Renaissance period. It is important for the client to understand that a ceiling image is chosen for a long time, so it should not be irritating or oppressive. For homes, offices and spas, the usual choice is images in pastel or lively but not overly intense colours. The image need not be large or cover the whole PVC film: sometimes a flower or delicate butterfly in one corner of the ceiling is enough to change the atmosphere throughout the room. Studios, showrooms, clubs and retail spaces more often use bold, provocative colours contrasted with white or black, a marketing technique intended to influence consumers’ willingness to buy.
Photo-printed stretch film can be placed on one tier of a multi-level ceiling and combined with special lighting to create a complex, original and refined composition. Often, installing such a ceiling changes the room so much that few additional decorative details are needed afterwards.
Unlike painted ceilings, photo-printed stretch ceilings require no special care: they do not accumulate dust or cobwebs, fade or deform.
